Weight Loss Goal Setting

People thinking nowdays are wrong if i might say, people want to lose weight everywhere. In their head they only hear one thing, lose weight, lose weight. This is the wrong assumption if i might say. People think the word as individually. So when you say lose weight what you hear first is lose and lose mean losser and losser mean nothing.

If you are trying to weight loss try to change your way of thinking and not saying weight loss or lose weight. Try something diffrent like great body, great muscle, slim body, or something positive like that. With this kind of technique you will get positive idea and not thinking to be a losser.

Most people aren’t aware of how the mind work, they take negative word seriously. If you say bad negative word although it is not bad such as lose weight or not stupid. In the not stupid word the word that your mind catch is stupid the not word is simply un catchable cause that’s the mind work, i read the article about this but i forgot about where i read it but i’m sure there are plenty of article of how this positive word affect you article available everywhere.

So next time you make a goal to lose weight, scratch that idea. And change it to be more postive like great body in two month or slim body in 2 week. It’s easy right? So next time remember don’t think lose but think win!

When setting a fitness/weight loss goal?
Do you find it more helpful to set a weight goal or a size goal? I am exercising 45 minutes a day (not loving it but, you know, it’s better than dying) and eating healthier. I am 5’7". I don’t wish to be thin or skinny, my goal is be at a healthy weight. I’ve been overweight most of my life (I’m 34). My question is should I set my goal at x-number of pounds or a dress size (I am currently at 230 lbs wearing a size 20…although a little loosely in the last several weeks)? And what would be a healthy goal?

Thanks for your advice and input!

A healthy BMI for someone that is 5’7" is approximately 120-155 lbs. If I were you I would shoot for about 150 for now. Good luck
